Intensive Residential Support Integrated Family and Youth Service currently provides Residential Care programs up the Queensland coast from North Brisbane to Mackay. Our residential programs support young people who are 12-17 years of age in the care of Queensland’s Department of Child Safety who are assessed as needing a placement different from family-based care. Our Residential Care programs can nurture and support between 3-5 young people for differing periods of time depending on the structure of the program. Some programs have a short term placement focus, whilst others have a medium to long term placement focus. Each program emphasises supporting young people with the development of life skills to assist them to reach their potential in order to prepare them for their future transitional period.
