BEYOND EXPECTATIONS

Beyond Expectations focuses on supporting 15-19 year old’s who are or were engaged with Child Safety and is available to young people living in Gympie, the Sunshine Coast, the Moreton Bay Region and Brisbane. The Program helps young people to reengage in education, access training opportunities, and gain the skills and confidence to obtain employment.

FRESH START

Fresh Start offers assistance to 15-24 year old’s connected with Youth Justice or Probation and Parole. Case Managers can assist young people with their career pathway through access to training, helping with job readiness and opening doors to employment. The Program is available to young people in Gympie and on the Sunshine Coast.

YOUTH SUPPORT PROGRAM

Our Youth Support Program is a school-based initiative, working with four schools on the Sunshine Coast, to assist young people who are homeless, or at risk of homelessness. The Program, working in collaboration with teaching staff, supports young people to remain connected to school, family and support networks.

YOUTH ENGAGEMENT & LINKAGE SERVICE

The Youth Engagement and Linkage Service (YELS) provides support and outreach, working on a one-on-one basis with young people and in a group setting across the Sunshine Coast. It supports young people from 12 - 21 years old who are engaging in high-risk behaviours, and those who are disconnected or at risk of disconnecting from family, school or their community. The Program provides advice and advocacy, assists young people to make connections with local services and can offer more intensive support if required.

RECONNECT PROGRAM

The Reconnect program, working with schools in the Caloundra Electorate, assists young people to remain at school, connected to their families and community and to address the risk of homelessness occurring. The Program provides advice and advocacy, assists young people to make connections with local services and can offer more intensive support if required.
